New managing partner for Houthoff
On the 1st of July 2020, Houthoff, a leading Dutch law firm with global reach, announced that Hans Londonck Sluijk joins the firm´s board, replacing Gerhard Gispen who passed away unexpectedly on the 13th of May. With the appointment of Mister Londonck Sluijk, the board consists of three managing partners again, together with Edward de Bock and Albert Knigge.
Hans Londonck Sluijk has held a number of key management positions within the firm during his 28 years at Houthoff, and furthermore served as Head of Dispute Resolution a couple of times. He will continue his practice as litigator and trusted adviser to his clients alongside his board role. The new board´s term of office runs until 2022.
Edward de Bock comments: "We are very pleased that Hans will be joining the leadership of the firm. Hans has extensive management experience and a strong view on our firm's strategy as an independent Dutch law firm with a dedicated international focus. As member of our board, Hans will continue to contribute to Houthoff and the goals we have set as a top tier law firm".
The decease of Gerhard Gispen, former managing partner since January 2019, brought Houthoff much sadness and grief and he will be fondly remembered by his colleagues and friends.
