Lupl: the perfect legaltech for Singaporean lawyers
The legaltech company Lupl has reached an agreement with the Singapore Ministry of Justice to develop a platform that allows different lawyers in Singapore to collaborate.
The result of this agreement is the Legal Technology Platform (LPT) and can be used by lawyers and law firms to improve document management, communication between parties, among other services.
Although it is currently in beta, Singapore's Ministry of Justice hopes to organise an official launch of this tool in the second quarter of 2022.
The need to digitise the legal sector is one of the reasons why the Asian government is committed to collaborating with Lupl, which will streamline the work functions of lawyers and increase the quality of their services. LTP presents a great opportunity, especially for small and medium-sized law firms with limited resources.
Among the functionalities of LTP are document management on a secure platform; legal document templates, lawyer communication system and other software with various functionalities.
The Singapore Ministry of Justice is excited about this tool created by Lupl and hopes to implement it in public institutions as well as in courts and tribunals. It has also assured that the tool will be available at an affordable price for lawyers and firms.
