How to spark creativity by brainstorming
---
Gambhir presents the steps to follow to carry out a good brainstorming and how to avoid a lack of inspiration by changing to a different vision
If you are short of inspiration and new ideas, these tips can help you brainstorm and spark your creativity:
Try to rewrite the assignment from a kid´s perspective
Do not change the content, but the way you express it. Express yourself in clear language so that you can be understood by anyone outside the legal sector.
Disconnect, but do not stop taking notes
Disconnect by doing what you like the most. Get away from that mental space where you usually are so that your brain can pause and start asking questions. When you have a task to deliver on a deadline, all the pressure comes on you and many tasks and responsibilities start running through your brain. Write them down, maybe later you will be able to rearrange them, and they will make sense.
Also, it would be good to establish one morning a week as a "fresh thinking morning". This would be beneficial for recovering energies and brainstorming with the team.
Once you have written your notes, start writing freely
Do not try to write the perfect idea, but just write whatever pops into your head. Disconnect your cell phone and email. Take your time to write down your thoughts, maybe some of them will make sense and become a new challenge you did not know about.
Put yourself in the shoes of your audience
In the legal industry, you are fortunate to have a direct relationship with the client. Therefore, you are quite close to the audience you want to reach. Thus, you can know how they feel and what they need to offer them a better service.
Arrange a call with someone from outside the legal industry
When you are really stuck and do not know where to go, it is good to make an appointment with someone from a different sector. Maybe they can give you a different vision, make you have clearer ideas on where to go and achieve your challenges.
