Good communication on Social Media: key to the success of CEOs
Communication between business leaders and their employees and customers is very important.
And even more so in times of COVID, where everything is uncertainty and misinformation.
The 2020 Brandfod study shows the importance of good communication between leaders and their employees and customers.
According to this report, 98% of those surveyed say they strongly agree with the importance of communication work by company leaders to inform employees and customers about the support their company is providing to employees and customers during the pandemic.
97% of respondents agree that it is important for CEOs to show understanding for the health and financial security of their employees.
In addition, a high percentage of respondents to this report (93%) believe it is valuable for CEOs to seek to reassure their employees and customers, as well as corporate investors, through social media messages.
Three-quarters of respondents (74%) say they have looked at the social media accounts of their company's CEOs to see how the companies themselves are trying to survive the pandemic.
They also asked whether the commitment of CEOs to social media makes them seem more effective. 66 percent of respondents believe that CEOs are more effective if they demonstrate more presence and commitment on social media.
