Leading global law firm Baker McKenzie has hired Paul Glass from Taylor Wessing, where he was partner in the Commercial Technology & Data group and led the firm's Cybersecurity practice. Paul will join the Data and Technology team on 19 October to lead the London Data Protection and Cyber practice. 

With over 12 years' experience in advising on data breaches, Paul has a wealth of expertise and is well regarded for his practice, which includes cybersecurity, contentious data protection and litigation, and technology and IT disputes with a particular focus on new and emerging technologies. 

Paul is an important strategic hire and will play a significant part in contributing to the Firm's end to end client offering across the data, privacy and security lifecycle.

Paul started his career at Herbert Smith Freehills, qualifying into the litigation group in 2002 before moving to Taylor Wessing in October 2006 for its reputation in the TMT space. He became a Partner in May 2015 and positioned himself centrally within the firm for technology related disputes.
