Offering a wealth of industry experience, Mercedes Brown works with a diverse range of stakeholders to facilitate knowledge transfer across different geographic locations and establish effective professional networks in the legal services market.

Mercedes has previously worked for global brands such as Financial Times, Pearson, Charles Russell Speechlys LLP and Thomson Reuters Legal UKI. Most recently, Mercedes was appointed as the first full-time employee outside of the Americas for the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) to manage Europe operations, including member recruitment, programme and educational development, and more. Her role connects solution providers, legal technology professionals and other legal professionals. She is based on London, UK and reports to Joy Heath Rush, CEO, ILTA. Mercedes also supports several non-profit organisations – she sits on the Workplace and Employment working group at the Civil Mediation Council and is also a member of the advisory board for the Legal Technologist publication.
