Jonah Perlin

Legal Practice Professor, Podcaster

Professor Jonah E. Perlin teaches legal practice and advanced legal writing. Before coming to the Law Center he worked for several years as a litigator at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C. where he specialized in complex civil litigation in the United States and abroad. While at Williams & Connolly he also taught advanced legal writing at the Law Center as an Adjunct Professor. Professor Perlin clerked for Chief Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and Judge Ellen Segal Huvelle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Professor Perlin received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the Law Center in 2012, where he was an Articles Editor for the Georgetown Law Journal and a law fellow in the Legal Research and Writing Program. He received his A.B., magna cum laude, from Princeton University and his A.M. in Religious Studies from the University of Chicago Divinity School.
